Le Sughere Di Frassinello Toscana
Wine Advocate 93 points - This is a delicious value wine that has shown great strides forward in quality over the past two vintages. The 2013 Maremma Toscana Le Sughere di Frassinello is a hot seller and with 95,000 bottles produced, it should not be difficult to locate. The blend consists of Sangioveto, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The oak is evident but it is also folded nicely within the thickness of the wine. Rich flavors of dark fruit, spice, licorice and grilled herb peel off in thick layers. This wine is really beginning to shine. (Jan 2017)
Wine Spectator 87 points - A bright and expressive Prosecco, with floral, spice and exotic pineapple and guava fruit set on a fine, creamy bead. Delivers a fresh, zesty finish. (Apr 2016)
Wine Spectator 89 points - Crisp and fruity, boasting peach, honeysuckle and grapefruit flavors. The rich texture is backed by a vibrant structure. (Nov 15 2017)
