Wine     Educational

This course was created by James Cluer, Master of Wine. It is a proprietary course run exclusively by Fine Vintage Ltd.

There are many great wine producing countries in the world, but France remains as a benchmark for quality and style. So we are thrilled to offer wine lovers a certification program focused on the wines of la belle France.

Students who take this course and pass the exam will earn the French Wine Professional (FWP) post-nominal. It is open to anyone with an interest in learning about the wines of France. In order to register for this course however, you must have successfully completed the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits.

Examination: The French Wine Professional exam takes place at the very end of the last day of the course, at 4.30 pm, and lasts for 1 hour. It consists of 50 multiple-choice questions which are all drawn from the study guide. You need to get 33 correct and upon successful completion you will be mailed a FWP certificate.

Who takes these courses?

Many wine lovers take this course just for general interest. We also have people in the trade who work as Sommeliers, in sales, marketing and retail for whom the credential is extremely useful.
