Food

Dumont Brut Rose Champagne, Pinot Noir, Sparkling, Aube Champagne, Fr, Y, Fermentation is as with red wines but the wine is drawn off the skins after a day, balancing extraction, color & tannin. This method, known as “saignée”, can produce the most natural & delicately complex style of Rosé champagne such as this one.

Coulommiers

This is a beautiful pillow of a cheese from Vermont.  It’s sumptuous with butter and mushroom notes.

 

Tramin Pinot Grigio, Crisp White, Alto Adige, Italy, Beautiful bouquet with a hint of almond; minerally and floral; medium bodied, a lot going on; flavors of peach and apricot

Hummus with RB Pita Chips

The hummus is made in our kitchen & goes great with the new Pita chips we just brought in.

Torii Mor, Pinot Gris, Crisp White, Willamette, OR, Y, “Floral notes of honeysuckle followed by ripe Bartlett pear, green apples and dried herbal spice. The flavors beautifully reflect the aroma with crisp acidity and a light mineral essence.” 

Raclette on Potatoes

Melty, gooey cheese on anything is yum.

 

Val Saint Gregoire, Pinot Blanc, Rich White, Alsace, Fr, Y, Nice minerality and stone fruit on the nose, with a nice fresh balance and richness in the mouth

Biryani Rice Cooking Sauce

We just added chicken to this Wildly Delicious cooking sauce.  A meal fast.

Brack Mountain Wine Company; Fable, Pinot Meunier, Smooth Red, Russian River Valley  , Sonoma, CA, Y, The nose is reminiscent of fall spices, toasted pumpkin seeds & orange citrus. The palate is concentrated, with great acidity. Flavors of brandied cherry, cinnamon and a touch of cocoa linger on the finish

Duck Rillettes

From 3 Little Pigs, this succulent pate was made famous in the Western Tour region of France.  We love it!

 

Handley Pinot Noir, Smooth Red, Anderson Valley, CA, This wine offers aromas of black raspberry, cherry cola, with hints of orange peel and mulling spices. It fills the mouth with flavors of cherry, brioche, molasses, and the suggestion of cocoa. Crisp acidity creates structure and balance"             

Fran de Maquis

This pasteurized cow’s milk cheese is made in Dudley MA.  It is covered in herbs and resembles some Corsican cheeses

 

Robert Sinskey Late Harvest, Pinot Gris, Dessert, Napa, CA, Y, A delicately-sweet, late-harvest wine with aromas and flavors of ripe pear and wild flower honey. Pure and vibrant with a crisp edge.      

Effies Oatcakes  Made here in MA.  Sweet but not too sweet.  It’s hard to stop eating these.
