Come join us as we taste and listen to the story of how an accident led to one of Italy’s finest and most prestigious wines, the Amarone della Valpolicella. Explore the many rich aromas of cherry liqueur, black fig, carob, plum and chocolate that Valpolicella and Amarone’s wines have to offer while John Camacho Vidal speaks of the traditions and explains the origins and process involved in the making of this elegant, velvety, fruity and powerful wine.
John is a well-informed educator of wine and storyteller who has worked with Italian wines for over 9 years making the region his specialty. This is a Sit-down tasting of 6 premium wines, Valpolicella and Amarone paired with artisanal cheese and meats
