Grand Vin Wine Merchants has partnered with Chehalis Valley Farm, producers of pasture-raised poultry and forest-raised pork, as a pickup location and occasional outlet for their fine products.
On Saturday, March 3 from 5 -6 pm, Hanna and Chris, from Chehalis Valley Farms, will be at the shop with poultry and pork products for their subscribers - and for GVWM customers who are interested in checking out and/or purchasing their offerings. And we'll be opening a couple of bottles of Mark Ryan wine to celebrate.
Chehalis Valley Farm is located on 50 acres, in Elma, WA. The farm utilizes sustainable animal agricultural practices, consisting of intensive rotational grazing with their livestock, both in pastures and forests, as well as focusing on regenerative agriculture. These practices focus on improving the land, not destroying it, while raising happy, healthy animals on it. The animals live in the sunshine and forage on what nature provides them. Their forage diet is supplemented with non-GMO grains that are corn and soy free, and they are never given growth hormones or antibiotics.
