Like so many other wonderful success stories in the craft beer industry, Mother Earth Brew Co. started in a garage in San Diego County. What began in 2008 when a trio of friends which included ‘two baby boomers and a millennial’ came together to share their passion for home brewing, blossomed two years later into an actual, bonafide brewing business. Daniel Love, a former telecom executive, and his wife, Erin, opened a home brewing supply store and a tiny nano-brewery in a 2,000 square foot space of an office park in the burgeoning craft brew district of Vista in April, 2010. The millennial in the group, Kamron Khannakhjavani, came on board as Brewmaster and Mother Earth Brew Co. was off and running. They grew so fast, they soon took over the entire office park to handle their increasing production and tasting room space, and in 2012 they added a second Tap House in old town Vista. With distribution throughout California and even greater demand in the western U.S., Mother Earth Brew Co. opened a larger scale brewery in Nampa, Idaho in 2016.
Throughout their impressive rise, Mother Earth Brew Co. has remained a family-owned business grounded in great familial pride and the knowledge that from the beginning “husbands, wives, sons, daughters, nieces, nephews and cousins collected their talents and worked to establish a brand of high quality, great tasting ales.” They have stayed true to their mission “to create complex, palate-pleasing beers, and to promote the art and science of craft beer making.” In doing so, they have become a leader in the craft beer movement.
