The Great Taste of PG is a popular affair drawing over 400 foodies, sampling bites from over 20 of the Peninsula’s best restaurants, caterers and the like; while tasting an impressive selection of over 20 wines and brews produced in Monterey County and beyond. The event includes a Great Silent Auction with typically over 100 items and packages to bid on, and the opportunity to “Stock Your Cellar” cork pull. Tickets for the event are $75 per person and are now on sale at www.supportpgpride.com (Must be 21 and over to attend). Tickets prices increase to $85 April 16th and may not be available at the door.
Since 1982 PG P.R.I.D.E. a non-profit community organization, has supported Pacific Grove public schools. Our purpose is to raise funds which are allocated directly to PG classrooms and programs that enhance curriculum and instructional opportunities for the students. We are staffed by community volunteers and pay no salaries. In our 34 years we have raised over $1,100,000 to the benefit of thousands of PGUSD students.
