LOCATION & PHONE
Wine Vault & Bistro is located in the heart of San Diego between Little Italy and Old Town at 3731-A India Street on the upstairs terrace.  Follow the black handrail up the stairs from the sidewalk to our front door.  Our phone number is (619) 295-3939.

PARKING ~ FREE & PAID
Valet parking is available for $8.00.  The drop-off point is two doors south of our entrance in front of Shakespeare Pub at the corner of India and Winder.  Also, on-street parking is usually available within a 3-block radius.  Remember that it’s OK to park in yellow commercial zones after 6:00 and that meters are also free after 6:00.  You can also park in the lot behind Shakespeare Pub two doors down, but do not park in El Indio's lot unless you want your car towed!  If you can’t find parking next to the restaurant, there’s always LOTS OF PARKING on San Diego Avenue and the adjacent side streets just past the Chevron station across Washington Street.  So please don't drive yourself crazy endlessly going around in circles waiting to pounce on that perfect spot when there's TONS OF PARKING less than three blocks away!

WINE NOTES & BOTTLE PRICES
2017 Las Nubes “Jaak” Rosé ~ $18
(Valle de Guadalupe)  Winemaker's Notes: 40% Grenache, 40% Carignan + 20% Zinfandel. Intense nose of good expression, open aroma in fruit character, clean and elegant, notes of pineapple, apple, pear, light floral touches and great balance, equilibrium and harmony are presented. Wine of medium high intensity taste, dry, pleasant and balanced acidity, long-standing fresh wine, good body and fruity aftertaste confirming its aromatic aspect and elegant expression. Pair with all types of shell products such as clams, oysters, lobster and shrimp.

2016 Stolpman "Estate" Roussanne ~ $22
(Ballard Canyon) 88% Roussanne + 12% Chardonnay. Winemaker's Notes: Intentionally cloudy, boasting a mix of neon yellow and peachy cream, this wine is singularly unique in appearance. Tangerine orange blossom, honey and a continuum of lemon sing all the way through the palate. The toasty oak framework lies underneath the fruit profile, lifting and supporting it. The creamy, zesty texture goes on forever, well beyond a typical white finish. Secondary notes of Jasmine, tropical guava, green apple, pear, apricot, and Marzipan all emerge ion this vivacious, high toned, silky beauty.

2015 Cass Grenache ~ $20
(Paso Robles) Winemaker's Notes: Aromatic and fruit driven, the nose showcases elements of stewed strawberry, beet juice, tomato stem and gentle undertones of pink peppercorn. The palate is polished with refined acidity and soft tannin. Savory accents weave amongst flavors of ripe raspberry and black cherry leading to a layered finish framed with nuances of bramble berry, cotton candy and dried rose.

2016 Cavas Valmar Tempranillo ~ $22
(Valle de Guadalupe) Winemaker's Notes: 100% Tempranillo.  Intense red pomegranate color with some violet tones.  Nose is a delicious combination of red fruits, plums, and spices.  Complex attack of ripe blackberries well balanced with dry, soft tannins in the finish.

2013 Margerum "Late Harvest" Sauvignon Blanc ~ $19
(Santa Barbara County)  Winemaker's Notes: Nose of juicy fruit, honey and ripe melon.  Pleasantly sweet yet not cloying attack of more ripe fruit nicely balanced with rich Meyer lemon acidity in the evolution and long finish.  Will age gracefully through 2020 developing nectar-like aromatics and becoming richer and even more honeyed.  A well balanced dessert wine that pairs well with fruit salad, custardy desserts like creme brulee, or salty cheeses.
