City Winery Boston and American Airlines invite you to the first season of the First Class International Pairing Series! American Airlines is the Official Airline of City Winery a proud sponsor of the First Class International Pairing Series. At least once per month, we present a dinner showcasing the wines and cuisine of a fascinating region served by American Airlines. Each program includes remarks by a leading regional expert, a multi-course dinner, and flights of wine highlighting the traditional styles of the region. Over the course of the dinner series we will "visit" an array of international destinations.
Join City Winery’s Beverage Director Kelly Coggins and Caroline Conrad from Vine Street Imports as we explore the New Australia! We will look at wines from up-and-coming Australian producers who are leading the grower/producer movement in new regions and old. Enjoy four courses paired with memorable wines and a lively discussion of what's happening in the Australian wine scene today.
Featured wines include Jamsheed of Yarra Valley, BK from the Adelaide Hills, Margaret River’s own Woodlands, groundbreaking producer Ochota Barrells produced in the Adelaide Hills, and new comers Pyren Vineyards of the Pyrenees.

Caroline Conrad is the Regional Sales Manager for Vine Street Imports. Caroline graduated from Boston University with her B.S. in Hospitality Management. Her first post-college experience was spent as a Kitchen Server at Thomas Keller's Per Se. After such an invaluable experience, she continued her restaurant career in NYC with Mario Batali and Joe Bastianich as the GM of their high-volume Greenwich Village hotspot, Otto, for 4 years. She then moved on to assist with the opening of the 50,000-square-foot Italian market, Eataly, in Chicago, and soon after led the opening of Mario and Joe's Babbo Pizzeria e Enoteca in Boston, MA.
Following much time managing Italian restaurants, Caroline will always have a soft spot for Italian wine. With that said, Caroline discovered Vine Street Imports after opening a bottle of one of its wines, Le Ragnaie Rosso di Montalcino, for some of her regular guests. Moving back to her hometown city of Philadelphia was always a goal and this discovery only accelerated that plan. The rest is history... she is happy to be home and proud to be a part of such a wonderful company.
