This Saturday we'll be stepping up to some serious Spanish wines. Bodegas Maques de Tomares has been producing Rioja since 1910. We'll be stepping back in time a bit and tasting the 1996 Gran Reserve Rioja this Saturday plus a handful of other wines including a stunning Crianza, an out of sight Rioja & Reserve Rioja plus a bianco.
We've been waiting for this producer to come in for sometime now and finally...we are the first to present these Spanish delights to you all.
Be forewarned though...the quantity of the bottles is not what we had hoped. Today I secured another 6 bottles of the '96 Gran Reserva.
