2015 1 Km West Chardonnay
From the get-go, the serious deep green/gold color in the glass indicates that it's not messing around. Loads of citrus oil, citrus peel and baked quince on the nose fold directly into the same impressions on the lemon curd-saturated palate. Just on the fuller side of medium bodied, mouthwatering acidity leaves the wine to finish with a satisfying tensile snap. Rich-yet-crisp, yin/yang nature to remind us of some old word favorites. While sure to be delicious not long after release, we suggest you also try to sock some away for future enjoyment as we predict a long and lovely life ahead for this beautiful Chardonnay.

Sascha’s bursts with black fruits, black cherry, framboise and dark plums. All backed up by brooding earth and mineral notes made complete with 60% new French oak. Balance is always the name of the game, but you can be sure this Pinot has a full personality and veritably gushes with flavor.

2012 Las Madras Vineyard Syrah Carneros
Even in warmer years, the cooler-climate personality of the Las Madres Vineyard shines through. Redolent of Mediterranean herbs, smoked meat, pepper and black olive, the 2012 showcases the best of old world aromatics and new world muscle.
While it may be our largest scale Las Madres to date, it remains our most savory Syrah. Very little new oak was employed and we upped the whole cluster fermentation to 75% to accentuate the distinctive black olive tapenade character we love so much. 92 Pts Wine Enthusiast
