Did you know that Cabernet Sauvignon is grown in almost every wine producing country from the cold climate of Canada to some of the warmest in South America? Healthy Chef Partylogist Nancy Waldeck will lead our exploration of one of the world’s most widely recognized red grapes tonight, with a tasting of Cabs from around the world.
• The warm up for the evening will be with a cheese tray, especially selected to bring out the deep rich flavors from this hearty wine.
• Then, just to prove that seafood does pair well with reds, we’ll enjoy Scallops with Mushrooms and a pair of fruity cabernet choices.
• Steak with Black Olive Cabernet Sauce accompanied by Roasted Veggies will bring out the “big-boys”
• We will close the class with Incredibly Decadent Chocolate Cake with a “taste and compare”
