Four Course Wine Dinner – February 1st – 6:30pm
Senti, along with Winemaker Claudio Viberti, of Viberti Wines and Nick Biondi of Majestic Wine and Spirits, present a selection of wines from Piedmont, Italy paired with a four-course menu highlighting classic Northern Italian dishes. The menu is priced at $75.00 per person including wine pairing and discussion from Claudio Viberti. Featured menu items will include Potato Polenta Stuffed with Gorgonzola Cheese, House-made Pasta with Sausage and Mushrooms in a Light Tomato Sauce, Beef Shoulder and Barolo Stew and Chocolate Pudding Piedmont Style with Amaretti Crumbs. Menu without wine pairing priced at $45.00 per person.
Claudio represents the 3rd generation to run the family business. Claudio, a self-proclaimed “evolutionist” states, “Setting new, more demanding goals is a necessity for the development of any business. The know-how passed down through the generations only takes you so far; you must also improve upon your techniques in order to reach a new level. It is important for family businesses not to become so deeply rooted in tradition that they refuse to evolve with the times.”
