Tuman’s Tap & Grill hosts Pollyanna Brewing Company for a tap takeover showcasing five of the Lemont, Illinois-based brewery’s stouts. The tap list includes Peppermint Milk Stout, a Milk Stout brewed with chocolate and peppermint; this new Pollyanna beer has very limited availability in Chicagoland (firkin). Also look for Fun Size, a candy bar-inspired Milk Stout brewed with lactose milk sugar, sticky oats, peanuts, vanilla beans, cocoa nibs and sea salt. Other brews include Personal Chain Letter Russian Imperial Stout and two variants: Personal Chain Letter with Madagascar vanilla beans and Personal Chain Letter with ghost peppers.
The beers will be tapped at 4 p.m.; meet the Pollyanna crew from 7-9 p.m. There is no cover charge to attend and beers are $8 each. Food specials include $3 carnitas tacos. Tuman’s Tap & Grill is open from 4 p.m.-2 a.m. on January 18 and the kitchen is open until 11 p.m.
