Join us on Thursday 25th January when we will take you on an intimate whisky masterclass 'around the world' where you will get to discover what makes whiskies from all over the world different, yet similar. Let our whisky expert guide you through the history, production techniques and geographical influences which have resulted in the production of some of the world’s oldest, best and most contemporary whiskies.
Get ready to be taken on a journey from the Scottish highlands, to Kentucky and Japan, and enjoy the opportunity to try whiskies from each of these corners of the world.
The evening will begin with a welcome drink of a Jim Beam Double Oak highball and/or The Naked Grouse and cherry flavoured soda.
You'll 'visit' Scotland the home of the Naked Grouse blended malt, then to Kentucky, where you'll learn about the varying weather conditions and the influences that these can have on a whisky with the focus being on Jim Beam Double Oak.Finally, you'll go to Japan where they will learn about the birth of Japanese whisky and how this booming category reshaped the whisky category finishing with a tutored tasting of Chita and Hibiki Harmony.
