Build upon the fundamentals you learned in Basic Cooking Part 1 as we focus on the most important cooking principals while preparing a variety of tasty dishes. Learn the six basic cooking methods: sauteing, steaming, roasting, braising, frying and pressure cooking while expanding your culinary creativity. Prepare dishes utilizing these techniques and discuss how one ingredient can be used in more than one recipe. Learn more about seasoning using spices and fresh herbs and see how food presentation can make all the difference. Bring an apron and prepare to have a culinary good time!
