We're very excited to announce our next Pop-Up Dinner with Chef Erin Sealy! We'll be featuring 6 different spirits from San Diego's own, Cutwater Spirits, including a brand-new rum, not yet released to the public! Formerly Ballast Point Distilling, Cutwater has set the bar for the local spirits scene in San Diego. Multiple people from the distillery will be joining us to present these award=winning spirits, including Levi Walker (who you may remember for our Wild Turkey dinner last year!) and a distiller. The first selection will be served during the 1/2 hour meet and greet prior to the dinner. Following this included reception, dinner will start. Chef Erin will be pairing each of the 5 remaining spirits with their own dinner course. This will be a wonderful night of vodka, whiskey, rum, gin, food and insights that you won't want to miss!
Each selection will be paired with its own spirit inspired dinner course, prepared by Chef Erin Sealy. Chef Erin specializes in pairing food with wine, beer & spirits with a slightly different approach than most. Prior to creating a menu, each beer is tasted and reviewed and then she creates a food pairing, highlighting the nuances of each selection. This concept creates a dinner and pairing experience with layers of complexity and unique creations which exemplify the enjoyment of each spirit. With a passion for food and spirits, Chef Erin delights attendees with a detailed account of the pairing concept and cooking techniques that create each course.
