Los Bermejos Seco, Diego, Crisp White, Lanzarote, Canary Is, Spain, Y, "A high-acid grape grown only in the Canary Islands. Fermented w native yeasts in stainless & aged 3 months in tank sur lie. This is a complex & umami-ful wine with a bright, mineral palate"

Maxorata

From the Canary Islands, this pasteurized goat’s milk cheese is made from the milk of indigenous goats and is covered with local paprika.  Fantastic.

Benito Santos, Albarino, Crisp White, Rias Baixas, Galicia, Spain, Y. This wine is rich, full of colour and gently spicy, with a generous and pleasing texture, very drinkable

Galician Scallops with Potato Chips

We recently realized that these small scallops from Galicia with Spanish potato chips that contain salt & sherry vinegar are a wonderful pairing.

Baumard Savennieres, Chenin Blanc, Soft White, Loire, Fr, Floral bouquet of apple blossom, quince and wet stone. Complex in the mouth with piquant notes of toasted nut, white pepper and stone fruit; integrated into lusciously juicy pear and white peach.

Chabichou de Poitou

This little tower of a goat cheese from France is dense and so, so delicious.

Beaurepaire Santenay 1er Cru, Pinot Noir, Smooth Red , Burgundy, Fr, Delicate aromas of wild blackberry and violet; Beautiful on the palate and long, with supple tannins.

Raincoast Crisp Cranberry Hazelnut

The cranberries and hazelnuts are such a nice pairing with pinot noir.  Try this with a creamy cheese and you’re in heaven.

Anna Maria Abbona Maioli, Dolcetto, Fresh Red, Piedmont, Italy, A big bold wine for a dolcetto; prunes and other dark fruit bouquet and palate, with integrated tannins

Aged Piave

Parm-like, less salty, tangy, and oh so flavorful.  From Northern Italy near the Piave River (near Venice).

Mayol Quatro Primos, Malbec, Syrah, Bonarda & Petit Verdot, Smooth Red, Mendoza, Argentina, Spicy nose with bold red fruit; black fruit and licorice, well balanced and long

Moroccan Ratatouille Spread

From the Gracious Gourmet, it is great with crackers, on pizza, in risotto and pasta and more.

Bodegas Vinatigo Aromatic Dolce, Malvasia, Dessert, Canary Islands, Spain, Y, High and complex aromatic intensity, reminiscent of apricots, bitter orange peel, topped with floral aromas; balanced and persistent.

Orange and Coconut Cookies

We love these cookies from Bisousweet of Shirley, MA.  What a great combination of flavors.
