“Zinning for the North Bay” - A Zinfandel Day Fundraiser for those affected by the Wine Country Wildfires
Join us for wine tasting, appetizers, music, and more at Urban Plates in Downtown Pleasant Hill from 5:30-8:30pm on Wednesday, November 15th! We’ll be celebrating Zinfandel Day and raising money to help those affected by the recent wildfires in the North Bay. Reserve your ticket with a suggested donation of $20; we also have event sponsorship opportunities if you and/or your company are interested.
100% of the proceeds from the event will be donated to relief efforts, via the Redwood Credit Union North Bay Fire Relief Fund. This special fund was created to support victims of and relief efforts following the devastating North Bay fires last month. Redwood Credit Union is covering all costs of administering the fund, so 100% of all donations will go to fire victims and relief efforts.
Many people throughout the Bay Area have been affected by the wildfires in Wine Country, and as concerned neighbors and local businesses, we want to be part of the recovery efforts. In order to help with rebuilding and renewal, we are holding this benefit event on November 15th to raise funds for the ongoing relief efforts in both Napa and Sonoma. We have chosen the date to coincide with National Zinfandel Day, the annual celebration of “America's Heritage Grape” that has always played a prominent role in the California wine industry.
“Zinning for the North Bay” will feature wines (Zinfandel and others) from the Boisset Collection, food from Urban Plates, and live music from “The dr D Band.” We expect a variety of local celebrities to join us, as well. There will be a brief presentation and donation drive to benefit the North Bay Fire Relief Fund at 7pm.
Even if you can’t attend in person, you can still join in our cause; make your tax-deductible contribution directly via our online portal: www.rcucommunityfund.org/pleasanthillcares
Thank you for your support!
