Wines are a cornerstone of the community at Emmerson, so when news of the devastating wildfires in northern California reached us we knew we wanted to support and provide relief to the many under/uninsured workers employed at the affected wineries. On Monday 11/13, we at Emmerson are hosting a special wine dinner in a partnership with Natural Wine Company, and we will donate the profits to the Winemakers and Sommeliers for California Wildfire Relief organization. The specially designed, four coursed paired dinner menu is limited to the first 20 people, and includes:
First Course: Gruyere Gougeres trout roe & bacon aioli w/ 2016 County Line 'Elke Home Ranch' Rose
Second Course: Lobster Orange beurre blanc w/ 2016 Lioco 'Sonoma County' Chardonnay
Third Course: Mushroom & Salsify Risotto w/ 2014 Wind Gap 'Gap's Crown' Pinot Noir
Fourth Course: Venison Beets w/ 2014 Bucklin OId Hill Ranch 'Bambino' Zinfandel
