Beaujolais Nouveau is a red wine made from gamay grapes produced in the Beaujolais region of France. The wine, which is fermented for only a few weeks before it's released to the public, is the first wine of the harvest and is referred to as vin de primeur. It is released for sale each year on the third Thursday of November, (perfect timing for Turkey Day, which, by the way, this wine pairs perfectly with!) and Modica's is joining in on the tradition! Join us on November 16th at 6:30pm to celebrate "Beaujolais Nouveau Day". We will be serving several wines from the Beaujolais region of France, and of course, a healthy dose of Nouveau! Light appetizers will be included.
