The Rotary Club of Ballina-on-Richmond invite you to join us for our 9th Ballina Food and Wine Food Festival, SUNDAY 1 JULY 2018 at the Ballina Jockey Club.
Ballina Food and Wine Festival, showcasing the best produce, products, restaurants, culinary expertise and entertainment the region has to offer, along with premium wines, craft beer, cider and spirits. This festival is run and organised by the Rotary Club of Ballina-on-Richmond.
Sunday July 1 is the main Festival Day, held at the Ballina Jockey Club, featuring exhibitors, information sessions, demonstrations and quality entertainment. Entry to the festival is for 18 years and over only.
Cottage industries will showcase their wonderful products. Local restaurants will cook their signature dishes for patrons to sample with tasting plates available for purchase. A variety of wines, craft beers, ciders and spirits will be available to sample and glasses and bottles of wine, beer and ciders are available to purchase to enjoy on the day or to take home.
Winemakers and brewers are on hand to talk about products and share their knowledge at information sessions, which will be conducted throughout the afternoon. This is a unique opportunity to interact with the experts and sample the very best rich reds, elegant whites, and boutique beers.
There will be cooking demonstrations using fresh local produce. Food producers and local restaurants will cook their signature dishes for patrons to sample.
We have wonderful live entertainment thoughout the afternoon.
Tickets are $25. Entry is strictly over 18 years only. At only $5 return trip, keep the car at home and take the festival bus that will running around the region.
The festival kicks off on Friday night June 29 at the Ballina RSL Club: 'Asahi - After Dark Gala Dinner' with live entertainment. The night will feature superb food, teamed with wines and craft beers.
