Wines of Substance (formerly known as K Vintners and Charles Smith Wines) was launched in Walla Walla, Washington by self-taught winemaker, Charles Smith. As a true artisan dedicated to his craft, Charles has received more than 98 scores of 95 points and above and more than 386 scores of 90 points and above from the leading wine publications; Wine Advocate, Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, and Wine & Spirits.
Top accolades include being named Food & Wine Magazine’s “Winemaker of the Year” in 2009 and Wine Enthusiast’s “Winemaker of the Year” in 2014. K Vintners is the largest independent and winemaker-owned winery in Washington state with wines currently sold in all 50 states and 24 countries worldwide. With the 2015 opening of Charles Smith’s Jet City Winery in Seattle’s Georgetown neighborhood, the company is credited with owning the largest urban winery in North America.
Chef Jacques will prepare a delectable 5 course menu paired with the Wines of Substance that will delight the senses. A food and wine event not to be missed!
