This Friday we'll be tasting four superb wines specially selected to set the tone for a perfect spring weekend. In addition, we are lucky to have Jackson Ray back in the house playing the guitar as you enjoy this stellar wine selection:
Sella & Mosca La Cala Vermentino: this is a dry, crisp Italian white from the island of Sardinia in Southern Italy. Bright and savory, La Cala has an alluring fragrance of white flower, exotic fruit, ripe peach and mediterranean scrub that makes it perfect for seafood. Awarded 89 points by Wine Spectator!
Marie de Beauregard Vouvray: a Loire Valley (France), medium dry Chenin Blanc that’s rich and fruity with subtle almond, acacia and quince aromas. This is a great white to enjoy with Asian and Indian dishes, Sushi and other full flavor, spicy cuisines.
Johanneshof Reinisch Pinot Noir: a new addition to our inventory this Pinot Noir is truly a gem and a perfect example of the great wines coming to the US from Austria. This medium light red offers a mix of wintery wood, smoke, bourbon vanilla and red fruit that you’ll fall in love with.
Paul Mas Malbec: this delicious, juicy red from Southern France - where Malbec grapes originated- is packed with flavors of ripe berry and licorice. Enjoy it with grilled meats, roasted chicken or just sip on it sitting outside with friends and good conversation.
I look forward to seeing you tomorrow!
