Presented by Schell Brothers, SoDel Fest, an upscale celebration of wine, food, and music will take place on Saturday, October 17, 2015 from 12:00PM to 4:30PM (EDT) at Independence Hall & Grounds, 23767 Samuel Adams Circle, in Millsboro, Delaware. This exciting event benefits Meals on Wheels Lewes-Rehoboth and Rotary International’s Global Polio Eradication Initiative.
Billed as the “ultimate wine, food and music event on DelMarVa”, and hosted by former Bad Company bassist, now food, wine and music aficionado, Paul Cullen, the event promises a fun and refined afternoon of food, beer and wine samplings and pairing, cooking demo’s, and a nationally recognized musical line-up. For added wow factor, guests may also enjoy “the man cave”. Surprise details are coming soon so stay tuned!
Foodies will indulge in cuisine from top-notch restaurants including Abbott's Grille, Bluecoast Seafood Grill, Bramble and Brine, Cultured Pearl, Grandpa Mac’s, JD Shuckers, Lupo Di Mare Italian Kitchen, Michy's Relaxed Dining, Nage, Palate, Touch of Italy, and more.
There will be plenty for wine and beer enthusiasts to enjoy, as well. Wine appreciation sessions featuring 100pt (95+) tastings with Fine Wine Specialist Joseph Lertch, Wine 101 with local “wine geek”, John McDonald a blind tasting with 2nd Level Sommelier, Mike Zygmonski, and Manfredo San Bonifacio, owner of Conti di San Bonifacio Wine Resort in Italy, will speak about the joys of owning a vineyard, will be offered. Beer tastings from local brewers such as Dogfish Head, 16 Mile and Mispillion will be offered.
Attendees can expect cooking and food demo’s by The Food Network’s "Singing Chef" Neil Fuentes, James Beard nominated Chef Hari Cameron, of a(MUSE) in Rehoboth, Lion Gardner, Executive Chef from Blue Moon, and Ronnie Burkle, Corporate Chef, SoDel Concepts.
Music will be provided by Lower Case Blues, Vinyl Shockley, Bryan Russo, and Bruce Anthony with a special appearance by Erin Dickins from Manhattan Transfer.
General admission tickets start at $75.00 per person with a VIP upgrade, tickets are $160 per person.
