Please join us for a tasting of exceptional wines from Allegrini Estates, Wednesday April 15, 2015 at 6:30 PM. The winery is located in Fumane di Valpolicella, just north of Verona in the Veneto region of northeastern Italy. The Allegrini family have been involved in winemaking since the 16th century, but it is the innovations of the last two generations that have brought them acclaim. The late Giovanni Allegrini and his children Marilisa and Franco have continued to challenge local traditions and accepted techniques in their pursuit of quality, which has been recognized with numerous Tre Bicchieri awards. More recently, they established the Poggio al Tesoro estate further west in Tuscany, where they make elegant red wines from Bordeaux varietals and a fine white Vermentino.
