The first annual Institute of Masters of Wine American Cabernet Sauvignon Tasting will be held at the Ferry Building, San Francisco in the second floor Port Commission Hearing Room on June 30, 2014. The tasting is offered in two sessions: 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The Institute has a long history of organizing tastings that are prestigious, professional, informative and fun and this inaugural event promises to be one of the premier wine tasting events of the year. The tasting will include many exceptional Cabernet Sauvignons from across America, showcasing cabernets from states including, but not limited to, California, Washington, Colorado, New York and Virginia. Tickets for this inaugural event are offered at special introductory prices of $55.00 for either the 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm or 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm tasting and $100 for both tastings, 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. No trade/student discounts are offered. Digital lists of the selections offered will be available one week prior to the event as well by contacting Nancy Johnson. Dress: Wine Country Casual. Attendees should kindly remember to avoid wearing perfume or other heavily scented lotions.
