Sonoma County Vintners will visit Vancouver on February 5th, bringing with them a treasure trove of sunshine-infused wines from the golden state. A tasting at the Terminal City Club will offer wine lovers the chance to taste top bottles from over 20 Sonoma County wineries.
Sonoma County is widely recognized as one of the world's premier winegrowing regions, and has become a destination for wine tourists. Over 400 wineries are located in the region, and it is the largest producer in California's Wine Country. The Sonoma in the City event will give Vancouverites a taste of the region's quality and diversity, with classic California varietals such as Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Zinfandel as well as some interesting surprises.
Net proceeds from the event will be donated to local charity the British Columbia Hospitality Foundation.
