Ellen Crosby, the popular author of a series of six mystery novels set in the Virginia Wine Country, will be the featured guest at “Mystery & Masquerade: A Novel Wine Tasting,” an elegant evening fundraiser on October 26, hosted by the Friends of the Gum Spring Library (“FROGS”) to benefit the educational initiatives of the library. Ms. Crosby will autograph copies of her book and discuss her work including her latest novel “MULTIPLE EXPOSURE: A Sophie Medina Mystery,” which was released in August.
The fundraiser will be held from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. In addition to the presentation and book signing by Ms. Crosby, the event will include tastings from Loudoun County wineries Willowcroft and Cana, heavy hors d’oeuvres, live music and a fashion show of upcoming holiday styles by national retailer Stein Mart. The FROGS are still welcoming additional sponsors and wineries for the event. Contact Deborah Deal-Blackwell at Deborah@saintblackwell.com.
