Annually on March 8th, recognized as International Women’s Day, thousands of events are held throughout the world to inspire women and celebrate their achievements. A global web of rich and diverse local activity connects women from all around the world, and The Westin Verasa Napa supports that cause by hosting our annual Somm Sisters Soiree girls getaway weekend in partnership with Women of the Vine and their Grand Tasting Event. The United States designates the whole month of March as 'Women's History Month', so come celebrate what makes women fabulous by joining some of the best female winemakers the Napa Valley has to offer!
Tentative Schedule of Events
Thursday, March 7th, 2013
- 5:00pm - 7:00pm: Complimentary Wine Tasting in The Westin Verasa Napa’s Lobby during Westin Unwind
- 8:00pm - 10:30pm: Collaborative Dinner at La Toque, hosted by Chef Ken Frank & special female guest chef (To Be Announced). and wine pairings from a selection of female winemakers. One seating, reservations required
Friday, March 8th, 2013
- 9:00am - 10:00am: Yoga sponsored by Lulu Lemon
- 10:00am - 4:00pm: Free time for wine tasting, maps provided for all female winemaker winery tasting rooms
- 5:00pm - 7:00pm: Women of the Vine® Grand Tasting with MORE Magazine on Solera Courtyard
Saturday, March 9th, 2013
- 10:00am - 3:00pm: Free time to explore downtown Napa shopping and wine tasting rooms
- 5:00pm - 7:00pm: Complimentary Wine Tasting in The Westin Verasa Napa’s Lobby during Westin Unwind
