Just in time for fall harvest, Mason Street Grill hosts Napa Valley-based Clos du Val Vineyards for an evening of delicious food and sophisticated wines. Similarly rich in tradition, the nearly 40-year-old vineyard is “Vindependent,” remaining steadfast in their commitment to crafting refined wines of elegance and balance. A 2012 recipient of Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence, Mason Street Grill is owned and managed by Marcus® Hotels & Resorts.
Chef Mark Weber created a five-course menu, including dishes such as Cape Elizabeth lobster cake, green corn pudding and micro wasabi paired with the creamy and full bodied Clos du Val Chardonnay. The opulent Clos du Val Cabernet Sauvignon Blanc, with aromas of ripe black and purple fruit artfully compliments Chef’s fifth course Roosevelt elk loin, wild huckleberries and sweet potato spaetzle.
