Local Wine Events

Hitching Post Restaurant owner Frank Ostini is not only a great chef, but he makes amazing wine as well.  In partnership with his good friend Gray Hartley, they have been making wine up the HP label since 1984!  Having survived their increased fame after the movie "Sideways" came out, they have continued making excellent, affordable wine that is perfect for food pairings. 
Tonight , we will enjoy 3 of their great PNO's  plus a wonderful Syrah.  These wines will be perfectly paired with gourmet Indian cuisine prepared by Chef Avinash Kapoor and his culinary team.
Four courses and four HP wines plus a Spanish Cava with appetizers- all for $69 per person, INCLUSIVE of tax and gratuity.  All the details will be available on Akbar's website by August 20.  Grab some wine and food loving friends and join us.
