Experience Napa’s history with intense, deep wines from Pritchard Hill legends, Chappellet Winery.

On September 24 The International Culinary Center welcomes Chappellet Winery, crafting extraordinary, age-worthy wines since 1967.

Each week, The International Culinary Center hosts a Food and Wine Pairing Series composed of wine tasting seminars and tutored pairing dinners. Learn the principles of wine and food pairing in a short lecture led by International Culinary Center Master Sommelier Roland Micu. Also, discover what sets Chappellet wines apart as you taste through a few of their acclaimed wines while Cyril Chappellet and MS Roland Micu explain how great wines reflect the complexity and character of great vineyards.

Afterward, proceed to The International Culinary Center's private dining room—the Monte Bello. You'll enjoy a three-course wine pairing dinner, prepared by our students, while Roland and Cyril discuss each of their handpicked wine selections.

With Special Guest: Owner and Managing Director Cyril Chappellet

In 1967, the Chappellet family began producing wine from grapes grown exclusively in the Pritchard Hill region of Napa Valley. The terroir created by the rocky, high elevation soils exudes grandeur in the glass—a trademark of the region’s renowned Cabernet Sauvignon varietal. Four decades and 3 generations later, the winery continues to produce powerful wines. Join us as we explore the complex flavor profiles and history of Chappellet’s wines.
