Join ConsciousWine for an incredible wine and food experience as we launch our first season of farm-2-table wine events!
We'll be featuring the three wines from Oregon's Youngberg Hill Vineyards paired with produce from Hilltop Hanover's own fields, delicately prepared by Flying Pig chef Lesley Sutter.
Guests will have the opportunity to stroll the fields of Hilltop Hanover's beautiful farm while enjoying a welcome beverage and an amuse bouche, as the sun sets. Then join us in the field* overlooking the farm for a 4-course meal prepared by well-know local chef Lesley Sutter. Lesley prides herself on using locally grown ingredients to provide her customers with the freshest foods possible. *In the event of inclement weather, we will be dining inside. Guests will want to wear comfortable shoes for walking.
ConsciousWine's own Vinny Liscio will personally guide guests through the meal as he pairs three of Youngberg Hill's wines with Chef Sutter's creations. Come to know this vineyard as Vinny speaks about their farming techniques and how Youngberg Hill came to grow 100% organic grapes for their delicious wines. Connections permitting, you'll even get a chance to meet vineyard owner, Wayne Bailey, LIVE via Skype.
Our events invite consumers to participate in the experience with all of their senses. The sights - bucolic farmland; the sounds of nature all around them; touring the crop rows, touching the fruits and vegetables as they grow; the scents of the soil and grass of the fields…all leading to the grand finale, the wine tasting and dinner all made from all natural ingredients and without pesticides or hormones.
