In the spirit of the “pop-up” restaurant craze, Spectrum Wine Auctions is hosting monthly thematic tastings in Los Angeles, Orange County, and beyond!We will always be on the move - it may be a restaurant in Venice, a wine shop in Newport Beach, a winery in Santa Barbara, a wine bar in Santa Monica - we will “pop up” near you with a fun and educational tasting event!
It will be on the last Wednesday of every month, with the mission to pop the corks on some of the world's great wines with our clients and friends. We will also be holding a raffle for a bottle of wine, gift cards and more. It will be fun, easy, and delicious, but you must RSVP!
Champagne Têtes de Cuvée Pop-Up!This month we will be pouring some of the great Champagne houses’ - the Grandes Marques’ - top wines, or Têtes de Cuvée. Each wine features a unique cépage, a complex terroir cocktail, and a particular preferred production method. We will be pouring wines from some of the great vintages of the 1990s - 1990, 1996, 1998, and 1999 - to foster comparisons among, elucidate contrasts between, and strike up a discussion about these very different wines. (We may even bring something extra just for fun.) We would also like to invite our guests to bring their own Champagne to the tasting to add to the mix, if they feel so inclined.Don’t miss out!
