The intention of the Introductory Sommelier Course is to provide a hospitality professional with a very well-rounded beverage expertise following the most rigorous standards. It is a two-day educational course ending with a multiple-choice theory examination on the second day. In preparation, it’s recommended that students acquire a good encyclopedia. The basic points of beer and spirits production should be covered as well.
