This will be a small, intimate group of no more than 16 people personally guided by me through the Cape Winelands during harvest time - March/April 2013. In addition to visits to some of the Cape's most distinctive wineries, we will be intimately involved in all aspects of the harvest. This opportunity to immerse yourself in grape picking, sorting, stomping, harvest festivals and vineyard picnics is unrparalleled. We have scheduled tutored tastings with winemakers, dinners with vineyard owners and even cookery classes. There are many wine-less activities to indulge in as well - olive oil tastings, cheese and charcuterie samplings and biking among them.
