Join us as we kick-off our Wines of Italy seminar series with the Veneto. Italian wine specialist, Micah Rochelle of Vinifera Imports, will lead us through the region and producers of the great whites of Soave and reds of Valpolicella and Amarone while you sit and enjoy the wines. The seminars will be held in the shop around the tasting table and will be a more intimate and structured version of our weekly tastings.
About Micah:
Micah has been a regular in our Friday tasting rotation. He is a Certified Sommelier through the International Sommelier’s Guild, amateur chef, graduate of Le Cordon Bleu, food and wine fanatic, and avid traveler. Micah joined Vinifera Imports in 2011 after four years at Chicago’s four-star Italian restaurant, Spiaggia, which boasts one of the finest Italian wine lists in the country. At Vinifera Imports he now represents the top Italian wines and wineries available in the United States. We’ll have an opportunity to try many of these wines as part of this great series.
