On Saturday special transportation for you leaves Las Vegas at 10:00 am for about a six hour trip to Burbank. On travel days to and from Las Vegas and Burbank you will be responsible for your own lunch and dinner. On the return trip we will leave Burbank after a hotel provided breakfast at the Hampton and then drive back to Las Vegas.

So from the "official start" of the tour on Sunday morning through the "official end" of the tour Friday morning everything is taken care of:

• All transportation

• All lodging (included lodging starts Saturday night and ends Friday morning)

• All meals (tips included)

• All activities (including wine tastings)

All lunches and dinners will feature wines paired with food except:

• Thursday lunch at Restaurant 4300.  We encourage everyone who wants to have wine with lunch to share one of their treasures they've purchased along the way with their new-found friends.

• Thursday dinner at Cafe Elegante will have table wine available, but those who prefer can open another favorite wine.

Itinerary

SANTA BARBARA WINE & FOOD PAIRING TOUR

This one-of-a-kind tour spans miles of vineyards, numerous varieties of wines, and a gamut of culinary styles.  Indulge in both the beauty and fruit of Santa Barbara County, the heart of the south-central wine coast.  Live the lifestyle of this bountiful area, sharing behind-the-scenes experiences with working viticulturalists, winemakers, and chefs.

This six-night, five-day tour not only includes 6 breakfasts, but also wine paired with 5 lunches and five dinners (tips included). Key activities include: visiting working wineries, estates and vineyards; educational workshops in cooking and wine blending; and numerous wine tastings; and some free time to explore the quaint towns of Los Olivos and Solvang.

Lodging is in premium hotels.

This tour is limited to 20 to 28 guests touring in a comfortable climate controlled mid-sized coach.  At times the tour will break up into small groups that will rotate in neighboring tasting rooms for an up-close and personal experience.

We begin and end the official tour in Los Angeles traversing up the beautiful coast and into the valleys of Santa Barbara County.

Here is a typical across-the-board review of Southern Utah Scenic Tours, described independently to Yahoo, that we believe accurately describe what most of our guests experience:

“We enjoyed activities, food, entertainment that we would not have done on our own! We had excellent meals, good hotels, and off-the-beaten-track experiences.”

This is not a typical “cattle car” big bus kind of tour.

We look forward to touring with you!!!
