We'll be waiting for you to sample together the following tremendous wines:

-Xavier Flouret Fe : This Rioja is made only in the finest vintages, and 2005 was a blast : the mild daytime temperatures and the fresh nights led to a perfect maturation. The result is a very aromatic wine, with flushing colors and an excellent taste. The intensity of the fruit will tickle your nose with red fruits and chocolate hints. On your palate, the fruity bouquet and the chocolate notes are sublimed by the extraordinary round structure.

-Xavier Flouret French Blonde: Sancerre wines are always very special, this one in particular matches elegance, perfect balance and superb flavors. We are presenting this 2010 vintage because it was a fantastic year for Sancerre. Dry weather, average temperatures. The result is a good balance between acidity and alcohol, showing notes of white flower and a good minerality. The power of the aromas is very remarkable.

-Xavier Flouret la Pilar 2007: This Argentinian Malbec stands at its full level of expression. The warm summer favored the perfect maturation of the grape which leads to outstanding oenological results. Showing off intense ruby red color, with violent hints, the sensation on the nose is very deep: black ripe fruit, violets and tobacco. On the palate, the sweet and velvety tannins confirm these strong flavors, all combined in an elegant and clean structure.

-Xavier Flouret La Victoire: Located in the heart of Cotes de Blaye, the Chateau Haut-Meneau is producing this outstanding wine, made with grapes picked only on the oldest vines. The climate is maritime, with rainy winters but warm summers. This was particulary true in 2008 with a warm and rainy spring. The eye is very deep, followed by cherry, blackberry aromas, and an hint of oak. On the palate it’s classic Bordeaux: smooth and deep tannic structure, with spices and fruity aromas. A little tip, try it with chocolate!
