Wine With Mike at Boca Kitchens & Floors

Mike Maletta, certified sommelier, has announced that he'll be forming a new class beginning on Tuesday February 28 and continuing on consecutive Tuesdays on March 6, 13 and 20, 2012 

  Mike will cover all the basics from proper wine tasting techniques, to discussions on the major grape varieties and their characteristics, to food pairing, to summaries of the major wine growing regions in the world today.  Wines that correspond to the subject matter will be tasted at all classes.

Mike is a graduate of the United States Sommelier Association.  He has been teaching a four week course at various venues from Miami to Palm Beach, as well as being the “Wine Professor” at The Vine Bar in Coral Springs for four years. The benefit of a four week course is that it allows you to build upon the knowledge gained from each preceding class and to ask any questions you think of during the week.  The object of the course is to enhance your enjoyment of wine.

Classes will start at 6:30 PM and last till approximately 8 PM.  The cost for the 4 week session is $95 per person and payment, in cash or check (made payable to Mike Maletta), is required at least one week in advance of the first day of class to secure your space.
