A vintner from Barboursville Vineyards will be your guide for this delightful 4-course dinner highlighted with wine pairings. Start your visit by arriving early for this event and then add an extra night to truly relax and unwind.
The menu includes: Appetizer – Poached Scallop with Lemon Zest, Parsley Dressing paired with Pinot Grigio 2010 or 2011. Salad – Roasted Beets with Mint Chevre, Pecans, Wilted Spinach, Citrus Vinaigrette paired with Viognier Reserve 2010 or 2011. Choice of one Entrée: Veal Chop with Gruyere Gratin, Yellow Carrots, Pinot Noir Demi paired with Barbera Reserve 2010 or Scallop & Shrimp with Pappardelle Pasta, Mushrooms, Arugula, Truffle Oil, Parmesan Cheese paired with Sangiovese Reserve 2010 or 2011. Dessert: Blackberry Gelee, with Coconut Cream and Chocolate paired with Phileo, nv.
