Sweet wines are wildly popular with beginning wine drinkers – and for good reason. Few people can jump straight to a big, bold Cabernet without building up their palate first. It’s like a baby learning to run before it can crawl. But once you realize you love sweet wine, why stop there? Dan and Krista Stockman will show you what your missing by staying in your sweet wine rut in their next wine tasting March 8 at the Continuum Art Gallery, 125 W. Wayne St., in downtown Fort Wayne.
Dan and Krista will lead a tasting exploring the many other accessible wines sweet wine drinkers are missing. The tasting will show participants why they like certain wines and not others and open a whole new world of wines up to them, including sparkling wine, South African wine and even French wine. Participants will see there is nothing to be afraid of inside the bottle, and will leave excited to make their own brave choices in the wine aisle. Seating is limited to 20 people.
