Speakers: Guido Guardigli (President of Consorzio Tutela Vini Montefalco),
Representatives for Adanti, and Scacciadiavoli.
The Consortium of Montefalco is an association with the role of safeguarding the wines and the denomination ‘Montefalco’.
The Montefalco Consortium currently has 213 members, representing more than 82% of the certified production of Montefalco Sagrantino and Montefalco Rosso in the most promising denomination of the emerging Umbria region.
The wine producers being represented are
Arnaldo Caprai, Antonelli San Marco, Scacciadiavoli, Adanti, Colpetrone and Perticaia.
10 of the producers best wines will be presented for your tasting pleasure.
Wines poured will be the following:
- two Sagrantino di Montefalco DOCG 2005 vintages
- Sagrantino di Montefalco DOCG 2006, and 2007 vintages
- two Montefalco Rosso 2008 vintages
- Montefalco Rosso 2009
- Montefalco Bianco 2010
-Passito 2007
- Grechetto 2010.
