Producer Tasting Week -- #2 Domaine Breton
February 26, 2012 (Sun)
from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM
New York, NY
Cost: free
Event ID #409289
Pierre Breton, of Domaine Breton, will be pouring wines all made from, you guessed it, 100% Breton (the grape). Better known as Cabernet Franc, Breton is the Loire’s most heralded red grape, and while it might only be coincidence that Pierre shares his namesake with the variety, it’s only fitting given the complexity and life he’s able to coax from it. His all natural wines (both in the vineyard AND the winery!) redefine what Cabernet Franc can do. Come taste the fruit of his labor.
