Fiddleheads and The Grape Escape present our 14th "Dine With the Winemaker" tasting event.

We love our “Dine With the Winemaker” events with The Grape Escape (www.gograpes.com) and so do those of you who have attended and got to know what they mean by their slogan “where you make the wine.” Here comes the next edition, Sunday, April 3, plus news about TGE's new ventures: "Bottle your own" olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Making your own mozzarella cheese.  Even wine-infused chocolate!  Read on...

Many of you enjoy dining at Fiddleheads not only because of the great food and atmosphere, but because you like the BYOB aspect and you love wine. But how about making your own custom wine? We're talking the real deal--crushing and pressing grapes, barreling and racking, and bottling, corking and making your own labels for a fine top-shelf wine uniquely your own, with as many options as you can think of.

So we’re pleased to announce that Tom Nye, owner and master winemaker of the award-winning Grape Escape wine academy in Dayton, N.J., will once again be our guest at Fiddleheads on Sunday, March 18, from 4 to 8 p.m. for the 14th edition of our “Dine with the Winemaker” series.

Enjoy a great meal at Fiddleheads on March 18 while Tom and his staff visit your table to pour some of the magnificent wines coming out of The Grape Escape, the most advanced hands-on winery on the East Coast. They’ll be available to chat with you about the company’s unique winemaking course (you might even call it a "party school"!) right here on Stults Road in Dayton, off Cranbury Road, near Turnpike exit 8A and Route 130.

Dinner reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis, so make your reservation by calling us at 732.521.0878. This event is always a full house and a very fun evening. There is no additional cost to sample the Grape Escape's wines.

The Grape Escape, a fast-growing winemaking school less than 10 minutes from Fiddleheads and the only one of its kind in Middlesex County, features a signature hands-on course to make and bottle your own wine. The same quality grapes used in the best Californian, Argentine, and Chilean wineries are shipped to The Grape Escape and in four short sessions over a 10-month period, you will have the unique experience of
"fine wining"!

Share this creative and fun craft with friends, family, a team of coworkers, or any club or group. Your own wine also makes great holiday or corporate gifts, favors for baby and bridal showers, and commemorations of wedding and organizational anniversaries. Students created many thousands of bottles of wine at The Grape Escape in 2011, and you can sign up for the Spring 2012 Chilean and Argentinewinemaking sessions right now!

They're also holding four Open House dates at their winery in Dayton. Fiddleheads will be hosting and serving complimentary appetizers at TGE's April 26 Open House; come see us! Visit their Web site under "News and Events" for Open House details and directions.

Want even more fun stuff? The Grape Escape is now offering classes in making your own mozzarella cheese, and bottling your own custom olive oil and 12-year-aged balsamic vinegar! And their latest Big Ideas? Melt your own wine-infused chocolate and make your own pasta! Be sure to ask about these events during your dinner at Fiddleheads on March 18; you can sign up on the spot! Also ask about corporate team-building events and private parties at the winery.

For our current menus, see our Web site at www.FiddleheadsJamesburg.com, where there is also a flyer about "Dine With the Winemaker" that you can print out to share with your friends. For more information about The Grape Escape, link to their site at www.GoGrapes.com.

We hope to see you on Sunday, March 18!
