Organic wines - what are they? Do they taste better? Are they better for you? Are they really different or simply an excuse to charge a little more? Indeed, do they need to be more expensive? With the current interest in organic, and sustainably grown, products of all kinds, this course will focus on the increasing range of such wines on the market. We will also look at the growing trend towards a biodynamic approach to winemaking (this term will be explained during the course) and ask why these wines are winning so many top awards. Of course, we will taste many examples.
Please bring a packed lunch, 2 wine glasses and a spittoon (an empty large yogurt pot works well)
