The French Cellar announces the twentieth and final class in our series of twenty Wine Appreciation Classes for the year 2012. Holiday Champagnes! will present and contrast a variety of blended sparklers from the smaller family "garage" productions to the larger more familiar Houses that produce large but consistent bottlings - and with special thought to Holiday party and dinner food pairings, recommendations for stand-alone sipping, and appropriate gift choices for particular friends, family and business associates. 8 unique Brut selections will be poured, from the more subtle to the most complex. Class will be held Wednesday November 7th at 7:00 PM, at 32 East Main Street (at College Avenue) in Los Gatos. Cost is $90 per person, including a light buffet of French cheeses. Please note, classes are limited to 16 participants.
