The French Cellar announces the fourteenth in a series of twenty Wine Appreciation Classes for the year 2012. Wines of the Rhône offers an introduction to the earthy red blends of Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre and Viogner grapes and the wines they make, along with a taste of the crisp white blends of Marsanne and Roussanne. 8 selected wines will be poured, to compare and contrast the least to the most complex. Class will be held Wednesday August 8th at 7PM, at 32 East Main Street in Los Gatos. Cost is $60 per person, including a light buffet of French cheeses.
