The French Cellar presents the 13th Wine Appreciation Class in our series for the year 2012. White Wines of France will take you on a tasting tour from Alsace to the Loire Valley, from Burgundy to Bordeaux then drop into Provence. You may try a Pinot Blanc and a Sauvignon Blanc, a "white" Bordeaux, Chenin Blanc and Chardonnay with a touch of Sémillon, or even a Bandol made of Ugni Blanc. All depends on what is shipped and available at the time of class. But you will be tasting 8 specially selected wines that will open your eyes to the diverse white wine tastes and growing regions of France. Please join us on August 1st at 7:00 PM for an introduction to the white wines of France. We will serve a light buffet of French cheeses to enhance the tasting experience.
